There has been an announcement that Mounjaro is now on the NHS.
Please do not call us and please read the information below.
This applies to two types of conditions:
- Type 2 Diabetes
- Obesity with other chronic conditions
If a diabetic patient is eligible, this will be discussed at their review appointment.
For other patients, there are strict criteria.
You are only potentially eligible if you have a BMI over 40 plus meet 4 out of these 5 criteria:
- Hypertension
- T2 diabetes
- Obstructive sleep apnoea
- Atherosclerotic cardio vascular disease
- High/abnormal cholesterol
It is likely there will be a community-based service, which is not yet in place. When we have further information, we will contact eligible patients.
