Meningitis outbreak

We appreciate there is a lot of understandable concern about the outbreak in Kent. We cannot provide any vaccinations outside the current eligibility, which is for children under 2.

If there is any change, we will take immediate action. Please keep an eye on the national news for updates.

Staff training days

St Stephen’s Gate Medical Practice and Newmarket Road Surgery will close from 1pm until closing (6:30pm) for staff training on the following dates:

  • Wednesday 4th February 2026
